Terms of service
The agreement for using Wirepilot AI, in plain language.
Effective date: September 24, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you (the business signing up, "you") and Wirepilot AI Inc. ("Wirepilot AI", "we", "us"). By starting a trial, subscribing or using our service, you agree to them. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you're authorized to bind it.
1. The service
Wirepilot AI provides an AI receptionist that answers phone calls for your business, and related features described on our pricing page, such as booking, call transfers, text and email summaries, a dashboard and integrations. Features depend on your plan. We may improve or change features over time; we won't materially reduce the core features of a plan you've paid for during the current billing period.
2. Free trial
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Your plan starts after 7 days unless you cancel. Cancel anytime from your dashboard. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged.
3. Plans, minutes and billing
- Plans are billed monthly, in Canadian dollars, in advance. There are no annual plans and no setup fees.
- Each plan includes a number of minutes per month. Minutes above that are billed at your plan's per-minute rate on your next invoice. Current rates are on our pricing page.
- Included minutes don't roll over to the next month.
- Applicable taxes (GST/HST, and QST where applicable) are added.
- If a payment fails, we'll let you know and may pause the service until it's resolved.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The change applies from your next billing period after the notice.
4. Cancelling
There's no contract. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires. To stop calls reaching the receptionist immediately, turn off call forwarding with your phone carrier.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Give us accurate information about your business, and keep your answers, hours and booking rules up to date.
- Tell callers they're speaking with an automated receptionist and that calls may be recorded, where the law or your sector requires it, and obtain any consent your sector requires. We'll help you word your greeting.
- Use the service lawfully, including anti-spam (CASL), telemarketing and privacy laws when using outbound calls or text messages.
- Keep your dashboard login secure and tell us about any unauthorized use.
- Not use the service to give professional advice (medical, legal, financial) that requires a licensed person. The receptionist is set up to handle scheduling, information and messages.
You must not use the service for unlawful, harassing, deceptive or emergency-dispatch purposes, to impersonate anyone, or to call people who haven't agreed to hear from you.
6. Your data
Call recordings, transcripts, summaries and your business information belong to you. You give us permission to process them to provide, support and improve your service, as described in our privacy policy and security and privacy page. For caller information, we act as your service provider.
7. AI limitations
The receptionist uses AI speech and language technology. It's accurate most of the time, but it can mishear a caller or give an imperfect answer. It isn't a substitute for emergency services. You're responsible for reviewing call summaries and following up where needed, and for the answers you approve. We'll correct errors in your setup promptly when you report them.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available 24/7, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. It depends on telephone carriers, internet connectivity and third-party providers. We'll work to restore service quickly when something goes wrong and tell you about planned maintenance where we can.
9. Third-party services
Integrations (for example your calendar, CRM or booking tool) are provided by third parties under their own terms. We're not responsible for their availability or changes they make.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business from missed or mishandled calls. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end the service if you seriously breach these terms (for example, unlawful use or non-payment), after notice where reasonable. Before your account closes, ask us for a copy of your call records and we'll provide an export.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and tell customers by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the changes.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
